Risk Assessment Services

A risk assessment for the control of legionella bacteria is a statutory requirement under The Approved Code of Practice (ACop L8) The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems 2013.

A risk assessment for the control of legionella bacteria in water systems is a fundamental step in protecting your employees and the public from exposure to legionella bacteria and the risk of contracting Legionnaires’ disease.

“A suitable and sufficient assessment is required to identify and assess the risk of exposure to Legionella bacteria from work activities and water systems on the premises and any precautionary measures needed.”

ACoP L8, paragraph 28 Page 11.

Sandess provides a wide range of bespoke risk assessments for the control of legionella bacteria within a wide variety of premises including open evaporative and adiabatic cooling systems.  Please refer to our legionella risk assessment industry sectors dedicated pages for further information.
